Weapons and police equipment found in his home/ 64-year-old arrested in Tirana

7 gun magazines, 4 cold weapons, 1 revolver, uniforms and police equipment, as well as a significant amount of ammunition were found in the apartment. The possessor was arrested. The items, which were possessed without permission, were seized.

As a result of the rapid administration of information provided by police intelligence, that a flat on “Pasho Hysa” Street was illegally holding weapons and other items, the services of Police Commissariat No. 1 finalized the “Ammunition” operation.

During the intervention, 7 gun magazines, 4 cold weapons, 1 revolver, uniforms and rubber batons similar to those of the Police, as well as a significant amount of ammunition, which were possessed without permission by the owner of the apartment, citizen AD, 64 years old, were found in this apartment.

Following the procedural actions in the case, this citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offenses of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons" and "Unlawful possession of a uniform".

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA
