Threatened by the brothers of the candidate for deputy/Two people are wanted

The police have announced a search for two suspects for "Threat or violence against election participants" and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition."

These people were declared wanted after yesterday evening EN and DN reported that the vehicle they were traveling in was followed by two vehicles and they were threatened with weapons in the village of Dajç.

The complainants claim that this happened because their sister is a candidate for deputy in the Lezha region.

Lezha Local Police Directorate
- Crime Investigation Specialists of the Lezha Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and declared citizens Xh. S., 27 years old and I. Gj., 40 years old, wanted as suspected perpetrators of the criminal offenses "Threat or rape of election participants" and "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

Their wanted list was announced after at around 23:25 on 04.05.2025, citizens EN and DN notified the Lezha Police Operations Room that initially the vehicle they were traveling in was followed by 2 other vehicles, and then in the village of Dajç, they were threatened with weapons by the citizens traveling in the two vehicles, for claims related to the electoral campaign of their sister, candidate for deputy of the Lezha district, citizen KN.

Immediately after the notification, the Police services launched investigations, with the aim of clarifying the authorship and circumstances of the case. From the investigative actions so far, it is suspected that the authors of the threat are citizens Xh. S., 27 years old and I. Gj., 40 years old. The Police services continue to work intensively to capture them. Also, under the direction of the Lezha Prosecutor's Office, investigations are being conducted to clarify and document with legal evidence all the circumstances of this case./ CNA
