Sentenced to 10 years in prison for criminal offenses with minors/ 32-year-old arrested in Shijak

A wanted citizen was arrested and handcuffed in the village of Sallmone, sentenced to 10 years in prison. 

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shijak Police Station, following the checks carried out based on police intelligence, for the localization and capture of wanted citizens, captured and detained citizen Fatjon Hoxha, 32 years old, resident of Shijak.

This citizen was declared wanted after the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, with the decision dated 21.11.2024, sentenced him to 10 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Sexual or homosexual relations with violence with minors aged 14-18".  

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës, for further action. /CNA
