Serious in Tirana/ Police officer commits suicide with his service weapon

A serious incident is reported to have occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Fresku area of ??Tirana. According to information, a police officer is suspected of committing suicide with a firearm. The victim has been identified as citizen IS, 30 years old.

The investigative group, in cooperation with the Police Supervision Agency and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the case.

On 14.06.2026, at around 01:25, in Fresk, in an apartment, it is suspected that citizen IS, 30 years old, a police officer, committed suicide with his service weapon.
