The police have finalized the "Accusations" operation, within the framework of which a 39-year-old man was arrested.

His arrest was made in the United Kingdom on behalf of Albania, after the Fier Court sentenced him to 5.4 years in prison for illegal possession of weapons.

 

NOTICE

The police operation codenamed "Accusations" is being finalized in cooperation with British partners.

A citizen convicted by the Fier Court for illegal possession of weapons and production/sale of narcotics has been arrested in the United Kingdom.

As a result of the coordination of information and operational actions of the State Police structures, with their counterparts in the United Kingdom, the police operation "Accusations" was finalized, for the capture of the Albanian citizen, internationally wanted, on behalf of Albania: -Ervis Vrenozi, 39 years old.

In 2020, he was sentenced by the Fier Court to 5 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offenses of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Production and sale of narcotics".

Interpol Tirana is collaborating with Interpol Manchester to finalize the procedure for the extradition of the 39-year-old to Albania.
