Weapons, cocaine and heroin/ Action in Durrës

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operations Force and the Durrës Police Commissariat, finalized the operation codenamed "Multiple Involvement".

During the operation, citizen EH, 36 years old, resident of Kavaja, suspected of threatening the informant for weak motives, was identified and criminally prosecuted at large. A toy pistol was found in his vehicle, seized as material evidence.

Meanwhile, JI, 45 years old, resident of Durrës, who was accompanying the 36-year-old, tried to leave quickly and while driving, he crashed into the Police vehicle, causing only material damage.

After being pursued by police, he was arrested. A search of the vehicle he was driving revealed that it had been rented by BM, 51, and that strong narcotics (heroin and cocaine) and an electroshock device were found in it.

Investigations have also revealed that JI, in collaboration with VK, 32, allegedly committed a theft at a car repair shop, taking batteries and diesel.

The police continue to work to capture the 45-year-old's two other accomplices and to fully document the criminal activities under the direction of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office./ CNA
