A 23-year-old citizen was captured in Fier and arrested with the aim of extradition to Italy, where he is accused of drug trafficking.

During the police operation codenamed "Tracking", citizen EF was arrested, declared internationally wanted after the Rimini Court, in 2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison".

The Narcotics Investigation Specialists of the Fier Police Department, based on information obtained from cooperation with Italian partners, regarding the location of an internationally wanted citizen, organized and finalized the coded operation "Tracing", as a result of which the citizen was captured in the city of Fier and provisionally arrested for the purpose of extradition to Italy:

-EF, 23 years old.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted after the Court of Rimini, Italy, in 2025, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Participation in a criminal organization" and "Trafficking in narcotics".

Cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome continues to finalize the extradition procedure of this citizen to Italy. /CNA
