New details have come to light about the escape of detainee Altin Ndoc from the Durrës infectious diseases hospital.

According to reports, Ndoci was not alone while undergoing medical examinations, but was accompanied by another detainee.

Altin Ndoci at one point asked to go to the toilet and was escorted by two Prison Police officers. After he came out, it is suspected that Ndoci hit the officers and pushed them and then quickly left.

The virus has escaped from the third floor of the hospital's infectious disease ward.

Altin Ndoci is considered a highly dangerous person and is involved in some of the most sensational murders in the country.

Ndoci, who has been in custody since 2020, is accused by the Special Prosecution Office of several murders, and is suspected of being part of the Çopja group.

From the testimony of the repentant justice, Nuredin Dumani, it emerged that Ndoci was connected to the murder of two brothers Besmir and Viktor Haxhia in Durrës and the execution of two other people on March 2, 2020, Dorjan Shkoza and Anxhelo Avdia. He is also accused of the murder of Andi Zylyfi and the wounding of Ardit Uruçi.

Ndoci is accused of the criminal offenses of "Murder in other qualifying circumstances", against two or more persons, committed more than once, "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", committed in special collaboration with a structured criminal group, and "Structured criminal group", (in the role of participant) and "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group".

The General Directorate of Prisons reacted earlier regarding the escape, stating that Altin Ndoci had left the premises of Durrës Hospital, where he had been accompanied for medical visits.

It is also reported that the relevant structures have been immediately put into motion and work is underway to locate and capture him, as well as to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident./ CNA
