Accident with one victim at a construction site in Himara

An accident with one victim occurred today at a construction site in Himara. According to police information, a 26-year-old man while working with a forklift hit a 45-year-old man. The latter died during transport to the Vlora hospital.

The police have accompanied the 26-year-old with the initials EP, while the investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.

Today, at a construction site in the village of Palasë, Himara, it is suspected that citizen EP, 26 years old, while working inside the site, while maneuvering with a forklift, has injured citizen KH, 45 years old, a worker at the same site. Citizen KH, as a result of the injuries sustained, died during transport to the Vlora hospital.

Citizen EP was immediately escorted to the premises of the Himara Police Station for further investigative actions.

The investigation team continues its work to clarify and fully document the incident. /CNA
