The Israel Defense Forces on Thursday evening announced the deaths of two more soldiers fighting Hamas in the Gaza Strip, raising the death toll in the ground offensive to 89.
One of them is the son of former army chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot, who currently serves as a minister in the emergency government.
Gal Eisenkot, a reservist, lost his life in southern Gaza, as his father was informed of the tragic news while visiting an army command.
