Fierce fighting/ Attacks continue in Gaza, Hamas bombards southern Israel

Hamas launched a war with Israel on October 7, killing 1,200 people. Also, Hamas took about 240 hostages.

Since then, Israel has continued counterattacks continuously, while the ceasefire of a few days ago was also broken.

But as Israeli soldiers have entered southern Gaza and are expanding the fighting territory, Hamas and its allies are carrying out revenge attacks.

Hamas' military wing fired rockets at Beersheba, about 40 km (25 miles) from the Gaza Strip in southern Israel. No injuries were reported, but the Times of Israel said several vehicles were damaged.

Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen fired rockets at the southern Israeli city of Eilat, but the IDF confirmed that they did not enter Israeli territory.

On the other hand, the number of victims from Israel's attacks has increased.
