2-day visit to Britain/ Trump travels next week, details from the agenda

President Donald Trump will make a second visit to the United Kingdom next week. He will spend Wednesday at Windsor Castle and meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday.

The US President will be welcomed with a spectacular royal reception during his state visit.

The King will deliver a speech in honour of the President at the state banquet at St George's Hall, inside Windsor Castle.

Trump and First Lady Melania will be welcomed at Windsor Castle by King Charles and Queen Camilla with a royal salute, followed by a carriage procession.

Later, the president will lay a wreath at the grave of Queen Elizabeth II, which will be followed by a flypast by US F-35 fighter jets alongside the British Red Arrows. The day will end with a state banquet, during which both the king and the president will deliver speeches.

Trump will travel to Chequers, the country residence of the UK's acting prime ministers, where he will meet with Keir Starmer for a series of bilateral meetings, followed by a joint press conference later that day./ CNA
