Swedish authorities have said the country is facing shortages and needs more workers in certain sectors across the country.

Expressing concern about the current work situation across Sweden, Swedish Minister of Labor Market and Integration Johan Pehrson, stressed that some parts of the country have an urgent need for personnel to fill vacancies, reports  SchengenVisaInfo.com. 

According to the Swedish Minister of Labor Market and Integration, Johan Pehrson, despite the smart economic situation in the country, many employers are currently looking to hire specialized workers.

Unemployment in Sweden rose to 8.0 percent and is expected to continue to rise in the coming years, reaching 8.5 percent in early 2025.

The job vacancies list includes various positions, mainly in health, IT and education, among others.
