Russian President Vladimir Putin gave an interview to journalist Tucker Carlson where he talked about the war in Ukraine on the eve of the 2nd anniversary of the launch of Russia's attacks.

As for the situation with Ukraine, he emphasized that "relations between the two peoples will be rebuilt. They will heal."

According to Putin, sooner or later the war will end with an agreement, arguing that NATO was realizing that defeating Russia on the battlefield would be impossible.

Putin addressed the US Congress calling on them that if they really want the end of the war in Ukraine, they should stop the supply of arms.

Putin did not answer a question about whether he is satisfied with the annexed territories, continuing to talk about denazification. Among other things, the Russian president said that he decided to take action after the leadership of Ukraine "declared that it would not implement the Minsk agreements".

"We have been talking about this all the time with the US. We called on the leadership of the United States and European countries to immediately stop this development, to implement the Minsk agreements," Putin declared./ CNA
