Ukraine shoots down 10 of the drones with which it attacked Russia on Friday

Ukraine's Air Defense Forces have shot down 10 of 16 drones that Russia attacked in three of its regions, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Kharkiv, on Friday morning, Ukrainian officials said.

One person was injured and civilian infrastructure was damaged during the attack in Kharkiv, regional governor Oleh Synyehubov said on Telegram.

"Rescue teams put out the fire in a hotel building. A civilian security guard was injured, he received medical treatment at the scene," he said.

He added that residential buildings, a three-story recreation complex and a restaurant were damaged in the attack.

The Russian army regularly attacks the regions of Ukraine with various types of weapons, especially drones and missiles. In January, Russia intensified its attacks, as a result of which dozens of people were killed and hundreds more were injured./REL
