Gjendje e jashtëzakonshme në Haiti/ Bandat sulmojnë burgjet, arratisen 4 mijë të dënuar

Qeveria e Haitit shpalli një gjendje të jashtëzakonshme 72-orëshe të dielën, pasi bandat e armatosura sulmuan një burg të madh Port-au-Prince, duke çuar në vrasjen e të paktën 12 personave dhe arratisjen e rreth 4,000 të burgosurve.

Drejtuesit e bandave thonë se duan të detyrojnë dorëheqjen e kryeministrit Ariel Henry, i cili aktualisht ndodhet jashtë vendit.
Grupet që synojnë ta rrëzojnë atë kontrollojnë rreth 80% të Port-au-Prince.

Një deklaratë e qeverisë tha se dy burgje - një në kryeqytet dhe tjetri në Croix des Bouquets aty pranë - u sulmuan gjatë fundjavës.
