The executive director of "TikTok", Shou Chew, has stated that this application has not shared any user data with the Chinese government.

“TikTok has never shared or received a request to share US data from the Chinese government. Nor will we do it, even if we are asked," said the CEO of "TikTok".

He also said that TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, is not owned or controlled by any government or state entity.

"TikTok users in the United States represent 10% of our global community, their voice accounts for 25% of total views worldwide," Chew noted.
