A police officer is attacked in Jarinje/ The perpetrator leaves the scene

A Kosovar citizen attacked a police officer at the border point of Jarinja and then left.

The event is known to have happened around 17.50 on 21.03.2023 at the moment when the Kosovar citizen was stopped to perform a physical check.

The Kosovo police say that the case is still being investigated.

" PKK. Jarinje 21.03.2023-17:50. The Kosovar male suspect was detained by the Police for police procedures, and the same, physically attacking one of the police officers, left in an unknown direction of the border. The case is being investigated, as long as the official has received medical treatment", it is written in the police announcement./CNA.al
