New rules for tourists in Ulcinj/ Up to 500 euro fine for moving in swimwear

The President of the Ulcinj Municipal Assembly, Ivana Popovic, announced the adoption of a new regulation on behavior in public areas with the aim of preserving order, ethics and the image of the city.

"The regulation was adopted with the aim of maintaining order, a culture of behavior and respect for shared public spaces," Popovic stressed.

The decision stipulates that it is prohibited to move around in swimwear or with a partially naked body outside the beach and swimming areas.

According to the regulation, the ban applies to: streets, squares, promenades, parks, pedestrian areas and green areas.

Tourists who break the rule are expected to be subject to fines of 350 to 500 euros. /CNA
