The head of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, has stated that the military alliance has not changed its nuclear stance, despite the rhetoric used by the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.
The NATO Secretary General said that no movement of Moscow's nuclear weapons has been seen, although President Putin recently announced that Russia will deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
NATO mbetet vigjilente.
NATO foreign ministers will be in Brussels on Tuesday and Wednesday for two days of official meetings, where they will officially welcome Finland as the alliance's 31st member.
Finland and Sweden both applied for membership after Putin's invasion of Ukraine, but ratification of Sweden's membership is being blocked by both Turkey and Hungary.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs will also discuss a new military spending plan for NATO, where the allies' minimum defense contributions will be 2% of their internal budget./ CNA.al
