Prosecutor in The Hague, strong accusations against the former leaders of the KLA

The court session in The Hague against the former leaders of the KLA, Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi, continues. The four accused have pleaded not guilty before the jury.

Prosecutor Alex Whiting has stated that the evidence shows that the former leaders of the KLA had power during the war.

"No one stands above the law even in times of war. The evidence shows that the accused had power in the war. For justice to be served, victims need to be heard. This case does not accuse all KLA members, only Krasniq, Veseli, Selim and Thaçi, who have committed war crimes. They will be held accountable before the law for the crimes they committed during the war," said Whiting.
