The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has stressed that nuclear technology is not on the agenda of Iran's ongoing talks, adding that the ability to enrich uranium is non-negotiable.
According to ISNA, the spokesman for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Ebrhaim Rezaei, reported on the lawmakers' meeting with the head of the AEOI, Mohammad Eslami.
"In this meeting, the head of the AEOI stated that the enemy seeks to destroy the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the nuclear industry as one of the factors behind the country's power," Rezaei said.
The parliamentary committee spokesman added that Eslami told the meeting that the necessary measures to protect nuclear centers and assets have been foreseen and implemented, and that the country's nuclear industry will continue to operate with strength and nuclear achievements will be protected. /CNA
