Anti-drug operation in Turkey/ 11 celebrities arrested

An anti-drug operation targeting celebrities resulted in arrest warrants for 14 suspects. 11 suspects were arrested, 2 are wanted and 1 is believed to be out of the country.

Among those detained are famous figures such as: Hafsanur Sancaktutan, Emir Can Igrek, Serra Pirinç, Ogun Alibas, Utku Unsal, Elif Busra Pekin, Burak Deniz, Mert Demir, Emre Ozturk (Fel), Ender Eroglu and Enes Guler.

The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, in coordination with the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Narcotics Crimes Branch Directorate, announced that arrest warrants were issued for 14 suspects believed to have participated in the crimes of purchasing, receiving or possessing narcotic or stimulant substances for personal use, or using narcotic or stimulant substances and providing narcotic or stimulant substances, in an investigation targeting known individuals, as reported by Turkish media "Haber". /CNA
