Sekretari amerikan i Shtetit, Anthony Blinken ka përjetuar momente dramatike, teksa avioni me të cilin ai po udhëtonte ka pësuar defekt.

Blinken ishte duke udhëtuar nga Parisi drejt Brukselit, kur avioni raportoi probleme dhe detyroi pilotin të kryente ulje emergjente. Pas kësaj, delegacioni diplomatik u detyrua të udhëtonte nga toka nga kryeqyteti francez për në Bruksel për një takim të ministrave të jashtëm të NATO-s. Nuk dihet ende se për çfarë defekti bëhet fjalë.

Në një udhëtimin e mëparshëm në Evropë në janar, Blinken u ndalua për pak kohë në Zvicër, për shkak të një problemi me avionin e tij.

Sekretari amerikan i Shtetit dhe shoqëruesit janë nisur me helikopter nga resorti zviceran dhe më pas ata hipën në avionin “Boeing 737” të konfiguruar posaçërisht, por u informuan se avioni u konsiderua i pasigurt për fluturim për shkak të një rrjedhje oksigjeni.

Ministri i Jashtëm amerikan u detyrua të ndërrojë aeroplan për t’u kthyer në Uashington. Një avion më i vogël u dërgua për të marrë Blinken nga Zyrihu, ndërsa zyrtarët shoqërues dhe gazetarët do të kthehen në një fluturim komercial./ CNA
