Prime Minister Albin Kurti remembered the victims of the massacre of January 27, 28 and 29, 1999 in Rogovë of Has, Goden and Bishtazhin of Gjakova.

Kurti underlined that Kosovo neither forgets nor forgives the crimes committed by Serbia.

"Anniversaries renew the wounds of war. The scars of crimes that do not age. The Republic of Kosovo does not forget nor forgive the crimes committed by Serbia", he wrote.

Anniversaries renew the wounds of war. The scars of crimes that do not age. The Republic of Kosovo neither forgets nor forgives the crimes committed by Serbia. On January 27, 28 and 29, 1999, Serbian armed forces killed 30 Albanians in Rogovë of Has, Goden and Bishtazin of Gjakova. On this 25th anniversary, we commemorate the fighters and civilians who fell for freedom, who with their sacrifice paved the way to the liberation of Kosovo from occupying Serbia. 21 soldiers of the Kosovo Liberation Army and nine Albanian civilians fell fighting.

Monumentalized in the new history of Kosovo, a quarter of a century later we remember them with their fallen names in those January days: Agim Zeneli, Agron Rama, Agush Gjocaj, Bahtjar Morina, Daut Kelmendi, Emrush Çetaj, Gëzim Ademaj, Gaspë Karaqi . Morina, Xhevdet Berisha, Ibrahim Kryeziu, Adem Shala, Zyber Shala and Rifat Shala.
