The Hague trial for former KLA leaders/Prosper: An opportunity to show what happened in Kosovo

The lawyer of former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi, Pierre Richard Prosper, in a statement to the media before the hearing in The Hague, conveyed his client's gratitude to supporters after yesterday's protests in The Hague.

The American lawyer said that it will be a new beginning and that new evidence will be presented and that he is enthusiastic that today they will have the opportunity to tell the truth about what really happened in Kosovo in 1999.

“The President thanks everyone who is supporting him in this process. We are excited about today, which will give us a chance to return to reality. We will have an opportunity to tell the truth about what really happened in Kosovo in 1999,” 

"It will be a new beginning, where you can see new evidence. We have been successful and we will continue to be successful," Prosper said./ CNA
