The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, spoke at a media conference about the problems the country is facing.

According to him, the country has been hit to the core in these 10 years by the lack of immigration and low birth rates.

Meta says that exports have decreased significantly, imports have also decreased, unemployment has increased while prices have hit both the middle class and the poor.

"Exports of goods have witnessed a deep crisis. Exports and imports have decreased. The total export of goods has decreased by almost 28 billion ALL compared to the previous year. Youth unemployment remains a major concern at 22.3 percent, given the high level of immigration. This is a social drama. The price increase in August is galloping. The increase in food prices mainly hit the middle class and the poor. In these 10 years, the country has been hit to the core by immigration and the low number of births. The Albanian government has no policy that brings welfare to the citizens." / CNA
