DASH declares "non grata" 3 officials in the Balkans

DASH has declared non grata three officials from the Balkans.

It is about the former special prosecutor of North Macedonia, Katica Janeva, the mayor of Karposh, Stevço Jakimovski and the former mayor of Kaçanik of Kosovo, Xhabir Zharku.

According to DASH, their actions undermined the rule of law and public confidence in the democratic institutions and public processes of their respective governments.

The former chief prosecutor, Janeva, was involved in corrupt affairs.

Jakimovski was also involved in corruption by using his office to interfere with urban development.

While Zharku, according to DASH, is involved in corruption, including using his position to interfere in procurement processes to illegally allow construction on property owned by the municipality./ CNA
