Belgrade demands compulsory military service, Kamberi: Albanians of the valley reject it

The Albanian deputy in the Parliament of Serbia, Shaip Kamberi, has called on the Albanians of the Presheva Valley to reject the mandatory military service.

According to him, the Serbian call is unacceptable for the Albanian community. 

"Warnings about compulsory military service in Serbia, even though it is a strategic marketing move by President Aleksandar Vucic, is unacceptable and must be rejected by the Albanians of the Presheva Valley," Kamberi wrote on Facebook.

The Albanian deputy emphasizes that Serbia today is not threatened by any of the neighboring countries.

"On the contrary, the case of September 24 last year in Banjska has shown the violation of the integrity of neighboring countries and who is targeting the aggressor. The region needs peace and progress, otherwise these war-inciting decisions only bring us back to the 90s". Kamberi wrote," says Kamberi. /CNA
