Part of the drug cartel/ Mexican bride is arrested on her wedding day

A woman in Mexico ended up spending her wedding day in a cell. She was handcuffed by the police while wearing a white dress. 

She was arrested along with the groom shortly before the start of the ceremony, for a case involving extortion and kidnapping on behalf of a drug cartel.

According to  the Daily Mail , the bride, named Nancy N., was arrested on December 22, the day she was scheduled to marry the chosen one of Clemente N's heart, also known by the nickname "Raton".

Prosecutors released video and photos showing Nancy N. in a wedding dress and handcuffed, surrounded by police.

Although the British newspaper reports that the groom was sent with the bride to the ward, other media outlets report that he eventually managed to escape.
