France "thirsty" for employees and craftsmen / Vacancies

Despite having a job vacancy rate of 2.4 percent in 2023, as reported by Statista, a German online platform that specializes in data collection and visualization, France is facing labor shortages in sectors different.

The largest number of absences reported by the European Labor Authority (EURES) was related to building and construction trades, healthcare, IT, engineering, agriculture and manufacturing, reports SchengenVisaInfo.com.

More specifically, based on the EURES 2022 report on shortages and redundancies, the following occupations were reported as the most in-demand jobs in France:
