Flagrant violations in the Tirana incinerator contract

The affair of the incinerators is one of the issues that has received the attention of the entire public opinion, while it has been strongly denounced for years by CNA.

CNA has published documents that show that the Tirana incinerator lacks 80 million euros of investment.

Regarding this scandal, the deputy of the Freedom Party, Petrit Vasili, reacted. Through a post on social networks, Vasili declares that the violations in the contract with the concessionaire company of the Tirana incinerator are serious and flagrant.

He accuses the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, of criminal charges, which, according to him, is unavoidable in facing justice.

"Severe criminal charges weigh on Veliaj: The usurpation of the powers of the Municipal Council.

Only for the primitive burying of waste, they are paid as if they are differentiated and treated, while in Shkodër the Municipality pays only 12 euros per ton. The incinerator does not exist anywhere.

Unrealized investments in the amount of 80 million euros, completely tearing the contract.

The construction business is conditioned to the granting of the building permit by the prior conclusion of the contract with the incinerator company to pay for the construction land.
