Shameful/ Healthcare still waiting for salary

A scandalous and shameful situation has engulfed the healthcare system. Doctors, nurses, sanitation workers, staff and personnel at the University Hospital of Tirana have still not received their salaries for December 2025.

The situation is repeated, showing not only poor management, but also disrespect for the work and sacrifice of healthcare personnel.

Today is Thursday, the date is January 22nd, and the doctors still haven't received their salary for December, not to mention the extra hours worked by the white shirts.

The healthcare system needs serious planning, as doctors and nurses are the ones who remain the "victims" of an incompetent administration.

This is not a situation that is happening only at QSUT but also at other hospitals. We recently reported that even the health personnel at Korça hospital have not received their December salaries.

This situation is both scandalous and shameful, while every day we hear propaganda about increasing the salaries of doctors, nurses, etc., the Health Ministry has still not received its December salary./ CNA
