Fatal mistake, bailiff and expert take away elderly woman's house

In Gostivisht, Erseka, in 2015, a decision of the Korça Appeals Court was incorrectly implemented by bailiff Artan Sima and expert Gjergji Janollari, taking the house of elderly Liri Dine. The conflict is related to the misdocumentation of the property's surface area.

The court decision and the Appeal itself acknowledge that the property is 260 m², but the execution was carried out for 300 m², which led to the elderly woman being evicted from her apartment.

"I lived on this property here, which belonged to my father-in-law and mother-in-law. My husband lived on that property for 57 years, and I lived with him for 35 years. We also had a child. My husband passed away in 2011. His brother and sister claimed a share, there were four trials for that property, and in the end, the Court of Appeals decided that I should leave that property.

"He did an injustice to the property plot built by my father-in-law, which is registered in the property office as 260 square meters and the court divided it into 300 square meters, where even the expert who did the measurements stated that it is 260 square meters, but the expert did an injustice. He comes and does the measurements, including this other property, where I could live there, while they evicted me from the other property," said the complainant.

After 9 years, Liri Dine denounces the case on the show "STOP" and the journalist allows her to meet with the bailiff. Initially refusing, Artan Sima promises to correct the mistake, but the procedures drag on with successive excuses.

Even in December, the bailiff appears in Gostivisht without the expert, while the expert himself states that he was not notified.

Asked by "STOP" about the 2015 measurements and the 40 m² difference, expert Gjergji Janollari hangs up the phone without giving any explanation. The resolution of the case is postponed to January 2026./ Tv Klan
