6 weeks without service in the QSUT Emergency / Irresponsibility of the Ministry
"Mother Teresa" Hospital Center Emergency

On February 11 of this year, a fire broke out in the Emergency Department of the "Mother Teresa" Hospital Center, and as a result, several services were out of order.

It has been 6 weeks now, but the internal medicine emergency, Cardiology Emergency operating rooms, resuscitation and hemodynamics service are not working in QSUT.

Although 6 weeks have passed, the situation in this building remains chaotic. The QSUT Directorate and the Ministry of Health have not done anything to restore these more than necessary services for the citizens.

It is a scandal that still does not have a solution from the authorities for citizens who go to get emergency help at this hospital. 

There are thousands of patients who walk into the emergency room of the Health Care Center, the Trauma hospital and the Sanatorium, where there is a large influx.

It is unimaginable that after 6 weeks the directorate of QSUT and the Ministry of Health have not made any intervention to put the operating rooms back into operation, to restore resuscitation, or the hemodynamics service./ CNA
