Traffic on the Tirana-Elbasan/Këlliçi axis: Kilometer-long queues

DP MP Belind Këlliçi has reacted regarding the traffic and vehicle congestion on the Tirana-Elbasan axis this afternoon.

Këlliçi, through a post on social networks, emphasized that the kilometer-long queues denounce government corruption.

"Daily kilometer-long lines denouncing government corruption!"

Kilometer-long queue leaving Tirana. Kilometer-long queue entering Elbasan. Kilometer-long queue crossing Lezha. Kilometer-long queue on weekends. Kilometer-long queue on weekdays.

This is the hell that citizens have been going through for 13 years in a row, even though around 4 billion euros have gone to roads alone since Edi Rama began governing until today.

Every year the budget for roads has increased, every year Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku have increased their fortunes and their enrichment.

You don't need to be a specialist to calculate that with so much money from the state budget, about 400 kilometers of category A highway would have been built, which for our small Albania would be enough to solve the infrastructure problem once and for all.

But citizens' taxes have been stolen. Up to 20 million euros per kilometer have been spent, and expensive, unnecessary roads have been built that have fallen into disrepair a month after their inauguration.

The photos that come out today of the torture of citizens stuck as if in a cage, at the exit of the Elbasan tunnel for more than 2 hours, are evidence of high corruption and bad governance.

Edi Rama may be giving lectures in Asia about democracy, but Bradashesh's detour is the tearing down of the propaganda, the facade, and the hypocrisy of a Prime Minister mired in affairs, who offers no solutions but ridicule for citizens.

There is only one way out of this siege, this persecution.

"The departure of Edi Rama!", writes Këlliçi./ CNA
