The e-Albania government portal continues to experience operational problems, creating serious difficulties for businesses and accountants in carrying out daily procedures.

Business representatives have stated to Monitor that the platform sometimes functions normally and sometimes goes out of service, preventing access to key services such as downloading fiscalized invoices and interacting with state financial systems.

"Even today you cannot log in to e-Albania or SelfCare," businesses say, emphasizing that the situation is blocking their activity and causing delays in important administrative processes.

One of the biggest problems is related to the malfunctioning of the fiscalization system, where users are unable to download invoices through the connection to the SelfCare platform, preventing the closure of financial transactions.

According to Monitor, the unstable state of the system has been described by some businesses with a figurative comparison as the "Strait of Hormuz", implying the constant opening and closing of services.

Businesses say that the situation has also affected the failure to complete electronic applications, the failure to display fiscal data, and the failure to accept electronic signatures, causing significant delays in online services.

A few days ago, authorities had announced a planned outage of the platform for maintenance and technological improvements, but problems appear to have continued even after its return to operation./ CNA
