Heavy traffic was recorded this Friday in the southeast of the country, where thousands of vehicles remained blocked due to the high flow of traffic.

The most problematic situation is at the Bradashesh roundabout, which continues to create difficulties for vehicle traffic. At this point, a kilometer-long queue of vehicles has formed, while drivers are stuck in traffic for hours.

The high traffic flow is related to the Summer Day celebrations, which are traditionally accompanied by numerous movements towards the southeastern areas.

Meanwhile, there is an increase in tourists visiting the southeast after the resolution of the traffic jam on the Librazhd-Përrenjas axis, which has led to more vehicles circulating in this direction. However, drivers are now facing another problem, that of traffic due to a bottleneck at the Bradashesh roundabout.

Heavy traffic is also expected on the other Elbasan-Librazhd-Përrenjas axis, especially in the segments where road works are currently being carried out./ CNA
