The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the person under investigation, VS, 67 years old.

This citizen is suspected of having sexual or homosexual relations with three minors.

Announcement:

On 06.03.2026, based on the criminal report of the minor victim of the criminal offense, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastër registered criminal proceedings no. 111/2026, for the criminal offense of "Involvement in sexual or homosexual relations with minors", provided for by Article 100/4 of the Criminal Code.

Within the framework of this proceeding, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Gjirokastra, in cooperation with the Judicial Police services, at the Gjirokastra Local Police Directorate, an investigative group was established and it became possible to clarify the circumstances of the event, where following the conduct of investigative actions, two other minor citizens were identified, in the capacity of victims of the criminal offense provided for by Article 100/4 of the Criminal Code, with the suspected perpetrator being citizen VS, 67 years old.

The Prosecutor 's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra expresses its readiness and guarantees maximum commitment for an immediate and priority investigation of any criminal report with a minor citizen as the victim of the criminal offense./CNA
