Reopening of the Librazhd-Përrenjas road/ Police appeal to drivers

The Elbasan Traffic Police, in cooperation with the Operational Unit of the Traffic Police Directorate, has intensified controls and monitoring on the Elbasan-Përrenjas axis, following the collapse of a road segment that forced the diversion of traffic.

Following the reopening of the highway at noon today, Police services have been deployed along the entire segment to guarantee the free and safe movement of vehicles, as well as to prevent the creation of traffic or dangerous situations.

Authorities announce that construction work is ongoing in the area, which requires increased caution from drivers. The Traffic Police appeal to respect speed limits, temporary road signs and instructions from officers on the ground, as well as those of the Albanian Road Authority.

Vehicle drivers, in case of need or emergency, are invited to contact the unique number 112.
