The first court hearing for one of the episodes of Operation "Revenge" at the Special Court could not take place normally due to the absence of the majority of the defendants.

Summoned to the trial were the defendants Aldo Avdyli, Edson Jozëik, Henerigert Mitri, Marklen Haka, Altin Morina, Jozi Kraja, Durim Bami and Oltion Zefi, but only the defendant Jozi Kraja was present in the courtroom, who requested that the trial continue with a summary trial.

Some of the defendants had legal representation in absentia, but the overall situation of the hearing was considered insufficient to continue the process.

Also summoned to the trial was Gjergj Mihasi, the father of Erigers Mihasi, who requested not to participate in the hearings due to his health condition, stating that he trusts the court's decision.

The Special Prosecution Office requested a postponement of the hearing, arguing that the absences impede the proper conduct of the trial. It also requested the suspension of the detention periods, arguing that all parties have been notified according to the law./ CNA
