Production of sailing ships in Pashaliman/ Agreement signed with European leader

Today, an important agreement in the field of defense will be signed, aimed at modernizing the Albanian Armed Forces through the production of ships at the Pashaliman shipyard.

The agreement was signed between the Italian company "Fincantieri", one of the European leaders in the maritime industry, and the Albanian company KAYO.

According to her, sailing ships will be produced in Albania that will serve the needs of the Albanian army, as well as potentially for allied countries.

Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, described this agreement as an important step towards strengthening the military industry and the strategic partnership between Albania and Italy. He stated that the new cooperation represents a step towards increasing the country's production and technological capacities.

"With this signing, KAYO company begins a new phase of cooperation with Fincantieri. I am convinced that this partnership will be a source of pride for us," said the minister.

Fincantieri is one of the world's largest shipbuilding companies, known for its advanced technologies and large naval projects, including military vessels and megayachts.
