Journalist Artan Hoxha shared details today regarding the shocking weekend event in Balldren, Lezha, where a married couple remained lifeless as a result of a gun attack.

Hoxha said on the "Noë" show that according to data, the main perpetrator of the incident had grown up since the age of 13 with hatred after the murder of his father and wanted revenge.

Hoxha added that the murder of the victim's wife, although forbidden in customary behavior, occurred because the couple always traveled together.

"They saw the moment when the victim could be at his weak point, to hit him, based on the movements he was making. They had studied the possibility of hitting him alone. The couple had four children and it was a fact that the victim did not move without his wife. This had created the impression for the perpetrators that they would have difficulty finding him alone. This gave them a kind of justification for shooting his wife as well, because it is neither customary nor traditional. We must bear in mind that the main perpetrator has grown up since he was 13 years old with hatred for the murder of his father and he must take revenge," said Hoxha./CNA
