DP leader Sali Berisha has accused chief negotiator Majlinda Dhuka of misleading parliament and public opinion during her reporting on the integration process and justice reform.

In a statement to the media, Berisha said that the government official was caught red-handed by presenting, according to him, figures that contradict the statistics of official Albanian institutions.

"A preliminary report I have from her report, she has been caught red-handed deceiving the parliament and public opinion in a way that distorts its face. She has given figures that are opposite to those given by the official institutions of Albania. Imagine how they deceive the EU, how deceptive this is."

Regarding COELA, throughout all this time, we have publicly denounced the occult, mafia-like, secret practice that the Albanian government follows in the integration process, not informing either the parliament, the opposition, or the public. Nor civil society.

The interim report, that it is not final, about the fundamentals, about rights, about justice, about the fight against corruption, and this Dhuka did not say a word about this. He did not mention a word about the Balluku file. He does not mention it because if he mentions the Balluku file, he will suffer like Ogerta or Elisa.

No, they said, we don't agree, Albania has problems.

And they have met many, many times so far. What happened? What happened is that the report was overturned. The Presidency has presented another report.
