Citizens demand Rama's resignation / 39th protest against the government is held today

The 39th protest against the government is being held today. Citizens, as on other days, are expected to gather at 7:00 PM at Skanderbeg Square and then march towards the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, where speeches will be held by the protesters.

For more than a month, citizens have been demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the caretaker government. The messages on the protest banners are full of calls against the entire political class in the country.

In addition to the protests in the afternoon, rallies were also held in front of the Parliament where there were tensions and clashes. During these days there were also arrests and escorts of protesters to a police station. /CNA
