Awaiting the Korça Beer Festival, the biggest summer event

The Korça Beer Festival was born in 2006, as an initiative of the Korça Municipality, with the aim of promoting the city's tradition in beer production, the culture of hospitality and the tourist potential of the region.

It was first organized in August and in its first edition attracted thousands of visitors from all over Albania and neighboring countries, immediately becoming one of the most important summer events in the country.

The first editions were characterized by the participation of local and foreign beer companies, stands with traditional dishes, concerts by famous artists, and a festive atmosphere that lasted several consecutive nights.

The immediate success made the Beer Festival an annual tradition, expanding from year to year in both the number of participants and the artistic and cultural program.

Today, the Beer Festival is considered the biggest summer event in Albania and one of the most recognizable symbols of Korça.

It has played an important role in developing tourism, promoting local products and strengthening the city's cultural identity, making Korça a favorite destination during the month of August./ CNA
