His Beatitude, Archbishop Joan, invited by the Ecumenical Patriarch of All Holiness, Bartholomew, participated in the three-day pilgrimage to Cappadocia.

Patriarch Bartholomew and His Beatitude Joan, together with their entourage, paid an official visit to the Prefect of Nevsehir and the Mayor of the city.

The day before, the two Primates visited the silent Church of the Holy Cross in Cemil. Meanwhile, today, Archbishop Ioan and Patriarch Bartholomew led the mass at the Church of Saint Theodore of Malakope.

The pilgrimage will continue in the afternoon with Vespers at the Church of the Theotokos in Nevsehir. His Beatitude Archbishop Ioan is accompanied by His Grace Ignati and Archdeacon Yohannes, who on Friday held a meeting with Patriarch Bartholomew. /CNA
