"I've been saying it for years"/ Alimehmeti: My objective is the municipality of Tirana

DP member and opposition municipal councilor, Ilir Alimehmeti, has once again expressed his ambition for the Tirana municipality in a television interview today. 

While commenting on the elections for the chairman of the Democratic Party, Alimehmeti said that this position has never been in his plans. He emphasized that his objective for several years has been to lead the municipality of Tirana.

"I do not have this ambition. I have another objective, I have clearly shown it for years. My objective has been directed towards Tirana. The ambition of the leader of the DP and tomorrow prime minister, is a different kind of issue, a competition, territorially broader. I think there are more advanced people. Another competition, it is another ambition that I do not have" , Alimehmeti expressed. /CNA
