Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi has made a post on social media about the demolition of the National Theater.

Këlliçi states that six years ago today, Prime Minister Edi Rama and the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, demolished the Theater, put the lives of several artists and activists who were inside the building at risk, and used violence against protesters.

He further adds that the theater's defenders were the last link holding back "a concrete invasion that swept through the capital."
