Macron welcomes Rama at the Élysée today/ The reason for the

French President Emmanuel Macron will host Prime Minister Edi Rama at the Élysée Palace today, in an official meeting that comes within the framework of the ongoing dialogue between Paris and Tirana.

The visit follows several previous meetings between the two leaders and aims to further strengthen bilateral relations, as well as cooperation in Albania's European integration process.

At the center of the discussions is expected to be the progress of Albania's reforms on the path towards membership in the European Union, where France is expected to reconfirm its support for advancing the process, in accordance with the union's criteria.

The meeting will also touch on expanding economic and strategic cooperation between the two countries, including education, energy, and French investments in Albania.

Among the projects expected to be discussed is the construction of a French lyceum in Korça, as well as the programs of the French Agency for Development in energy and environment.

According to the agenda, at 1:00 PM, an official reception will take place in the courtyard of the Élysée Palace, open to the media, while immediately after it will follow a working lunch behind closed doors between the two delegations./ CNA
